CfP: The House of Radziwill

CfP: The House of Radziwill: Culture, Politics, and Everyday Life (16th–Early 20th Century)

The Museum in Nieborów and Arkadia and the Trzy Trąby Foundation invite proposals for an international interdisciplinary conference on the history of the Radziwiłł family, held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of collaboration between the two institutions.
For centuries, the Radziwiłłs were among the most influential aristocratic families of Central and Eastern Europe, shaping the political, cultural and economic life of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and leaving a lasting imprint on the residential and artistic landscapes of entire regions. The conference aims to bring together current research on this heritage across disciplines and national scholarly traditions.
We welcome proposals from historians, art historians, archaeologists, cultural scholars, archivists, museum professionals and researchers from related disciplines. Interdisciplinary contributions are particularly encouraged.
